Baby Shower Time 5/12/12

My sweet sister in-law Pleasy and mother in-law threw me a baby the other weekend. They did such a great job coming up with fun little games and making an incredibly delicious brunch for everyone that came. 

It was so much fun and we are so blessed to have so many generous and wonderful friends and family that supplied us with just about everything we needed for our little guy.

It's crazy to think that now as I am writing this that he could be here any day now. Just about 2 weeks until his due date.

We are both super excited and I am anxious to get him out. I didn't realize pregnancy could be so exhausting! Sometimes it feels like my body is falling apart. Everything aches, my favorite thing to do is sleep (yet it is extremely hard to get comfortable enough to sleep), I have to pee like every 15 minutes (TMI I know but seriously it's crazy), and every time this little guy kicks it really hurts my ribs, sides, and hips (he is going to be one amazing soccer player :).

Anyway back to the baby shower...my mom and sisters were all able to come up, which made me incredibly happy. It wouldn't have been the same without them here. We were going to do a shower down there as well but time crept up on us and by the time I was done with school I was already well into my 3rd trimester and didn't want to have to sit in a car for that long to get there.

My sister was kind enough to bring my little niece Avery that I haven't got to see in so long. She is so super cute! I wish they lived closer. I just love my nieces and nephew :) 

My other little niece Ellie came to the shower as well and was a big help pulling everything out of the gift bags for me. Thanks to her I didn't have to do that hard work. She is too cute. 

The shower was very fun and a big thank you to everyone that came and so kindly gave us such wonderful gifts. We love them and Kanyon will love them too. We really appreciate everyone's generosity! Another huge thank you to everyone that planned and helped put this baby shower together. Love you all! Hopefully the next post will be pictures of our little guy :) I Just can not wait to be a mommy!
