Oops!

Clint had a little too much fun a couple weeks ago with his friends on the jumps they built. Well, it started fun until this happened..
Clint was showing up his friends like he loves to do. Went for this superman (which is where you extend you legs completely out in the air and then pull your legs back onto your peddles). Lets, just say he didn't make it back to his peddles. He over shot the jump! He heard a pop in his knee, quickly removed his pads and to his surprise couldn't move his leg past a 90 degree angle. He called his friend over and had him pull it out for him. And of course he got right back on his bike and rode around some more..Typical Clint. Clint thought I was going to be mad he hurt himself but I wasn't until he went to the doctor a few days later and found out he tore his ACL and had to have surgery. There goes the plans of paying off the car this summer...oh well. Im just glad he's alive.

Clint had surgery yesterday...here is his before shot.
Nice dress eh? haha
I waited in the hospital for 5 hours! I was told it was only supposed to take 45 mins so I started to get a little worried but they finally called me in to see Clint, and without further a-due here is what I found..
He was so hilarious all looped up on the drugs. I was laughing so hard. He kept saying things like..."they took my shoes", then he looked under his hospital clothes and said ..."and they took my clothes!" I asked him what he remembered and he said "They took me into this room with a bunch of old FARTS!" hahaha. I asked him what did they do? His response, "they jacked up my leg!...I think they cut it off!" Anyway that was just a few things he said. It was all rather comical though. One of the first things he said was "where is my hat?" And if you know Clint he always has to wear a hat and that include immediately after surgery.
Finally we got home and Clint's brother Robert came to babysit Clint while me and his wife Kim went to our sister in-law Jenny's baby shower. At the baby shower I decorated some cookies for Clint. They looked a little something like this...
Notice the boys leg is cut off haha that's Clint! Im pretty funny, I know. Well Clint didn't think it was too funny but the cookies were yummy, so in the end that is all that matters.

Clints goal is to be walking in 4 days, because one of the big-shot BYU football players was walking in 6 after his ACL surgery. We will see if that really happens. The doctor said it takes most people between 7-10 days to walk. I have faith in him, but considering its the second day and all he does is sleep I am starting to become slightly doubtful that will happen. I can't blame him though I bet surgery takes a lot out of a person and with all those drugs he has to take every 6 hours it's no wonder he can't stay conscience. Gotta love my baby :) Get well soon sweetheart! Maybe soon we'll be able to make it through a whole movie without falling asleep at the beginning.
