Trading in the Board for Skies

My first day of skiing. Clint finally convinced me to try skiing instead of boarding. It was way fun and I caught on fairly quickly. I have a ways to go but everyone was pretty proud of how well I did. I only fell a few times. I actually think I may like it better then snowboarding once I really get the hang of it and I learn how to fly down the mountain. Today was the perfect day for skiing too. I am not too fond of being cold, and today was perfect, not too hot, and not too cold. Clint's mom is a ski instructor at Deer Valley and she was kind enough to share her talents with me and help me learn. I spent all day on the bunny hill, which got very boring pretty quickly but I am very happy to announce that I graduated from the bunny hill today. Moving on to green runs next weekend. Woo-hoo! After lunch Clint traded his mom and came and skied the bunny hill with me. It was fun but the run is so short. I think we spent more time on the lifts then we did actually skiing down the hill.
