Utah!

I moved to Utah last december. Its been rough finding a job and trying to fit in somewhere I am not used to. But I have been blessed in so many ways moving up here as well. I have met some awesome people and I have some amazing new friends. This is Julia Rae Sanchez. My insta-friend. We have that little joke because we became instantly friends so fast right when we met. She is way fun and we have so much fun together always. We spent my first month here inseperable. We did everything together.

Our adventures include...Chasing chickens, hiking the "Y" in the snow, temple square visits, and well we went to an 80s musical and we dressed up. It was way fun. We looked like we came right out of the 80s...ok maybe not THAT good but hey we tried and gave it our best effort.

I also met an awesome guy :) This is my boyfriend...Clint Philbrick. This is him at typical Clint status. Yep, one amazingly good looking climbing bum haha. No he's no bum. He thinks he is but I know better then that. He's more of a wannabe bum. He is super fun to be around. We have so much fun together. And I have already learned so much from him.
He loves the outdoors. He loves to ski, bike, and climb. Although I am not good at any of these things I love to try and watch him and his mad skills. There is much more to come about Clint :)

We went to St. George a few months ago and did some climbing over the weekend. It was so much fun. We camped and climbed all weekend long. The nights were so brutally cold but we made it through for the climbing. I completed my very first multipitch climb on this trip. We climbed about 200ft! It was so incredible. I loved the feeling of conquering something so big and doing it with my best friends. Once I made it to the top I was so proud of myself but yet a little fighthened because I am kind of scared of heights. It wasn't too bad though. I was anchored in and Clint was by my side.

This trip was one of many firsts for me and I enjoyed every bit of it. I have never climbed outdoors before and wow lets just say its nothing like being in the gym. You can't beat nature, no way!
